About

Art has always been my passion.  My journey started with watercolor, where I developed an appreciation for fluid color and intricate details, a love that paralleled my later discovery of cloisonné enameling. Drawn to the vivid colors and delicate patterns created by fusing glass enamel to metal, I was captivated by how enamel jewelry mirrored the layering and blending techniques I had long explored in watercolor.

Under the guidance of master artisans, I refined my skills in metalsmithing and deepened my connection to the ancient craft of cloisonné. Having lived in New Mexico and Colorado for most of my life, my work is inspired by the colors of the Southwest landscape, Native American arts, and the region’s fauna and flora. My experience as a professional architect also shapes my design aesthetic, blending structural precision with artistic expression.

Now, in my Colorado studio nestled in an aspen grove in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, I create jewelry that reflects the natural beauty surrounding me. My pieces are a delicate interplay of fire, glass, and precious metals, with minute particles of powdered glass producing unexpected hues and gradients, much like watercolor paintings. Each piece is a collaboration with the elements—a unique creation infused with the spirit of the West.

By choosing my jewelry, you support a small, independent business that values artisanal craftsmanship. Each exclusive, handmade piece is more than a purchase; it’s an heirloom and an investment in art, adding a touch of elegance and uniqueness to your life.
